To manually scan for malware and grayware: (quick method)

From the Trend Micro™ Security (for Macintosh) Protection Status screen, click Scan Now.
To manually scan for malware and grayware:
From the Trend Micro™ Security (for Macintosh) product console, click Malware Protection.
Select the items to scan by selecting one of the three options:

Recommended files: scans Trend Micro recommended files.
■
All files on your computer: scans all files on the computer.
■
Only the files that you select > Choose Files: select the files, folders, and drives for Security (for Macintosh) to scan.
[Optional] Click Settings to specify what Security (for Macintosh) should do if it detects malware in a file.
Click Scan Now.
NOTE: Review the scan results immediately after completing the scan.
