You can manually release a machine from the Results Summary screen or the Task Details screen. When you release a machine, it can freely reestablish communications with the network.
Vulnerability Assessment does not release computers itself, but rather through Network VirusWall. Network VirusWall queries Vulnerability Assessment on a regular basis and blocks and releases computers based on the query information. Through Network VirusWall, you can configure the frequency to as short as every 30 seconds (the default for computers not in compliance with Network VirusWall policies).
To release a machine:
Select the machines you want to release.
Click Release.
Warning! When you manually release the machine, you override all other enforcement policies.
