You can manually block a machine from the Result Summary screen. When you block a machine, it cannot communicate with the network.
When a user attempts to connect with the network using a blocked computer, Network VirusWall displays a assessment page to inform the user of the blockage. The page identifies the vulnerabilities causing the block and instructs the user to click a link to visit a trusted page and download a security patch or perform an action to resolve the vulnerability.
Vulnerability Assessment does not release computers itself, but rather through Network VirusWall. Network VirusWall queries Vulnerability Assessment on a regular basis and blocks and releases computers based on the query information. Through Network VirusWall, you can configure the frequency to as short as every 30 seconds (the default for computers not in compliance with Network VirusWall policies).
To block a machine, do the following:
Select the machines you want to block.
