Using Cascading Manager

Use Cascading Manager to rename the alias or unregister a child server.

• To rename a child server alias

  1. Access the cascading structure tree.

  2. On the left-hand menu, click Cascading Manager.

  3. On the working area, right-click the child server whose alias you want to rename and then select Rename from the pop-up menu. The child server alias becomes an editable field.

  4. Type the new alias.

  5. Click Save.

   

• To unregister a child server using the Cascading Manager

  1. Access the cascading structure tree.

  2. On the left-hand menu, click Cascading Manager.

  3. On the working area, right-click the child server you want to unregister and then select Delete from the pop-up menu.

  4. Click Save.

  Trend Micro recommends using the Cascading Manager Delete option only when the child server status is abnormal (). Be careful when using the Cascading Manager, you may accidentally unregister child servers that are not supposed to be unregistered.
