Use the Logs tab to query and view logs for the parent or specific child server.
To query and view parent and child server logs:
Access the cascading structure tree.
On the left-hand menu, click the parent server or a specific child server.
On the working area, click the Logs tab.
Select the client log type:
Event Logs
4.1. On the Event Logs Query page, provide information for the following search parameters:
Severity - refers to the severity level of the logs that will be queried. The options are: Critical, Warning, Information, Error, Unknown. Select the check box of your chosen parameter
Incident - refers to events. The options are: All events, Virus outbreak, Module update, Service On, Service Off, Security violation, Unusual network virus behavior
Product - if you select a folder, this list shows the managed products that belong the folder. To view information on all products, select All. Otherwise, query logs of a specific managed product
Logs for - view all logs, or only those that the managed product generated within a specific interval. For the latter option, you can specify logs for the last 24 hours, day, week, month, or custom range
If you chose Specified range, select the appropriate month, day, and year for the Start date and End date
Sort logs by - sort the results by date/time, computer name, product, event, or the severity
Sort order - the options for this parameter are ascending and descending
Security Logs
4.1. On the Security Logs Query page, select All virus log incidents or a specific security logs type and then click Query.
4.2. Provide information for the following search parameters:
Logs for— view all logs, or only those that the managed product generated within a specific interval. For the latter option, specify logs for the last 24 hours, day, week, month, or custom range
Sort logs by— sort the results by time, computer name, product, event, or the severity
Sort order— the options for this parameter are ascending and descending
Click Display Logs to begin the query.
The Query Result screen displays the results in a table format.
The Generated at entity column of the result table indicates the Control Manager parent server time.
