You can perform a query on quarantined messages before deciding on the action to be taken. After viewing the message details, you can choose to release or delete the quarantined messages.
A brief description of the options available on this screen is available below.
Dates: Select the time period to query.
Reasons: Select All reasons or Specified types.
Security risk scan
Attachment blocking
Content filtering
Unscannable message parts
Resend Status: Select Never been resent, Resent at least once, or Both of the above.
Sender: Specify the sender of the email message.
Recipient: Specify the recipient of the email message.
Subject: Specify the text to search for in the subject.
Sort by: Specify the sorting method.
Display: Specify the number of results to display per page.
Search: Click to display the results.
The following lists the procedure required to perform a quarantine query.
To perform a quarantine query:
Log on to the product console.
Click Quarantine from the main menu and click Query from the drop down menu. The Quarantine Query screen displays.
Select the date range.
Select the reasons.
Select the resend status.
(Optional) Specify the sender, recipient, and/or subject of the message.
Specify the option for Sort by.
Specify the number of items to display per page.
Click Search.
