Policies determine how
SecureCloud responds to encryption key
requests from agents. Policies are essentially groupings of rules that reflect an
organization's
security practices and network configuration.
SecureCloud administrators can define company-specific policies.
SecureCloud applies the Default Policy
to new machines and devices if the administrator has not yet assigned them to another
policy.
Integrity checking is an option that administrators
can enable in a policy. If enabled, administrators can perform on-demand integrity
checks, or
schedule integrity checks to occur at specific time intervals. Integrity checks test
a
machine's compliance with the assigned policy. The policy determines how
SecureCloud responds if the machine or
its devices are no longer compliant with the policy.
