Administrators may
occasionally need to destroy a device's keys. Trend Micro recommends exporting the encryption keys for future use or
safe keeping before proceeding to destroy keys.
Procedure
On the Inventory screen, click the name of the
machine.
Select the encrypted device and click Destroy
Keys.
A dialog window appears with the message:
Are you sure you want to permanently destroy the encryption key
for the selected device(s)? We recommend that you export the encryption
key(s) first for future use or safe keeping. Click OK to
proceed.
