User Roles Parent topic

A role determines the level of functionality a user has in SecureCloud. You can assign one of the following roles to an account during or after Subscribing to the Trend Micro SecureCloud Hosted Service:

Role
Description
Account Administrator
Manages a group account. Privileges include:
  • Assign users to an account based on various roles
  • Control device encryption keys
  • Access the full functionality of all other Web Console operations—including MFA and console timeout settings
Security Administrator
Audits, manages, and exports device key, including report generation.
Data Analyst
Provides full report functionality with log functionality limited to read-only access. No other functionality is supported.
Auditor
Provides full report and log functionality, including log deletion. All other functionality is limited to read-only access.
Key Approver
Provides functionality to deny or approve key requests. Policy, Image, and device functionality is limited to read-only access. No other functionality is supported.
You cannot assign two roles to the same account. For example, an account with the Security Administrator role cannot have the Auditor role.
The Administration > User Management > Roles tab also allows you to toggle the MFA status of your accounts.
