Using the Activation Code Parent topic

Use the Administration > Product License page to supply the Activation Code (AC) necessary to:
  • Activate the license for a new installationpr_enter_new_ac_totally_new.jpg
  • Renew or update your license with more or less seats
    pr_enter_new_ac.jpg
  • Update your license from a trial license

Procedure

  1. On the Product License page, check the License Status, and if required, proceed to Step 2 below.
    • pr_status_red.jpg—activation code is needed; Otherwise, product features will be locked after the given grace period.

      Note
      Depending on your license, the grace period can be 30, 60, or 90 days.
    • pr_status_green.jpg—activation code is still valid. The number of days remaining is displayed on the page.
  2. Click the Enter a new activation code link.
    The New Activation Code page open.
  3. Supply your new AC in the New Activation Code field, and then click Activate.
