This version of PortalProtect uses compliance patterns to detect sensitive data in both files and Web content. Compliance Patterns are best used with structured content, like Social Security Numbers (SSN), credit card numbers (CCN) and telephone numbers. For example, credit card numbers are typically presented in 16-digit format, “xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx”, making them good candidates for pattern-based detection.
