The Summary screen appears when you open the OfficeScan Web console or click Summary in the main menu. This page informs you of the current status of your product licenses and your overall security risk protection, and lets you take action on items that require immediate intervention, such as outbreaks or outdated components.
Tip: Refresh the page periodically for an accurate picture of your security status.
This section contains the licenses of the product services. Reminders display during the following instances:
Full version
60 days before a license expires
30 days before grace period ends
When the license expires and grace period elapses
Note: During this time, you will not be able to obtain technical support and perform component update. The scan engines will still scan computers using out-of-date components. These out-of-date components may not be able to protect you completely from the latest security risks.
Evaluation (Trial) version
14 days before a license expires
When the license expires
Note: During this time, OfficeScan disables component updates, scanning, and all client features.
If you have obtained an Activation Code, renew your license by going to Administration > Product License.
This table provides the status of any current security risk outbreaks and the last outbreak alert.
View outbreak details by clicking the date/time link of the alert. You can reset the status of the outbreak alert information on this screen.
When OfficeScan detects an outbreak, you can immediately enforce prevention measures to contain the outbreak.
You can view the following in this section:
The connection status of OfficeScan clients
The number of detected security risks
The computers affected by the security risks
A link on the lower right part of the Networked Computers section opens a page containing top 10 security risk statistics. In this page, you can do the following:
View detailed information about a security risk by clicking the security risk name.
View the overall status of a particular computer by clicking the computer name.
View security risk logs for that computer by clicking View corresponding to a computer name.
Reset the statistics in each table by clicking Reset Count.
The Update Status tables contain available components and programs that protect your networked computers from security risks.
For each component, you can view its current version and then update outdated clients by clicking the number link corresponding to the component.
For each program, view the clients that have not been upgraded by clicking the number link corresponding to the program.
Note: Refer to the Installation and Deployment Guide for information on upgrading the OfficeScan client program. To update Cisco Trust Agent on clients, go to Cisco NAC > Agent Deployment.
