Configuring Scheduled Synchronization

• From the OfficeScan console:

From the Policy Server console:

The Policy Server must periodically obtain the version of the Virus Pattern and Virus Scan Engine on the OfficeScan server to evaluate OfficeScan client credentials against the server. Therefore, enabling or disabling of scheduled synchronization is not possible. By default, the Policy Server synchronizes with the OfficeScan server(s) every five minutes.

• Note: Manually synchronize the Policy Server on the Summary screen.

To set a schedule for synchronizing the servers:

1. Type the number of minutes (between 3 and 1440 minutes) to set the time interval for the scheduled synchronization.

2. Click Save.
