Administration > Failover Settings | Static Routes
Failover IP address settings are applied to the secondary device in a failover pair. These settings do not display if you have not enabled failover from the Preconfiguration console.
Static routes allow packets from the device to directly reach endpoints on another segment (behind a router).
A brief description of the options on this screen is available below.
Add—opens the Add Static Route screen, which allows you to create a new static route. You can add up to 50 static routes.
Delete—deletes the selected static routes from the list.
Network ID—click the Network ID of a static route to edit the route.
Note: Since these settings are for the second device in the failover pair, ensure that all settings match the Management device settings.
Click Save to ensure that your changes are not lost.
When adding a static route, specify a network ID, the subnet mask or the prefix length, and the IP address of the router as described below.
Network ID—network address specifying the location of the endpoints
Subnet mask/Prefix length—match the settings on the endpoints
Router—IP address of the router interface that connects to Network VirusWall Enforcer; ensure that this is not the bridge IP address.
Port—match the settings of the bridge IP address used for the static route.
