Administration > Failover Settings | Management IP Address
Failover IP address settings are applied to the secondary device in a failover pair. These settings do not display if you have not enabled failover from the Preconfiguration console.
Note: Since these settings are for the secondary device in the failover pair, ensure that all settings match the management IP address settings.
Configure IPv4 address using DHCP—select this option to obtain the IP address from a DHCP server.
Configure IPv4 address manually—select this option to specify a static IP address.
IPv4 Address—type the IP address.
Subnet mask—type the subnet mask.
Default gateway—type the default gateway.
DNS server 1—type the primary DNS server.
DNS server 2—type the alternative DNS server.
Configure IPv6 address using DHCP—select this option to obtain the IP address from a DHCP server.
Configure IPv6 address manually—select this option to specify a static IP address.
IPv6 Address—type the IP address.
Subnet mask—type the subnet mask.
Default gateway—type the default gateway.
DNS server 1—type the primary DNS server.
DNS server 2—type the alternative DNS server.
Host name—type the host name of the device.
Binding—bind the IP address to a specified port to restrict access to the management consoles. Specify the VLAN ID if the IP address you provided is part of a VLAN.
Port—this option reflects settings made through the Preconfiguration console. When selected, access to the management console is restricted to a dedicated network port on the device.
VLAN ID—specify the VLAN ID if the IP address is part of a VLAN.
Click Save to ensure that your changes are not lost.
