Direct Connection to Trend Micro Vision One Parent topic

Connect a deployed Deep Discovery Inspector appliance using the Network Inventory app in Trend Micro Vision One.

  • Disconnect from Deep Discovery Director - Network Analytics before using Network Analytics as a Service.
  • The Network Inventory app can connect to Deep Discovery Inspector version 5.6 SP1 or later.

Procedure

  1. On the Trend Micro Vision One console, go to Network Security OperationsNetwork Inventory.
  2. Click Connect Network Sensor.
  3. Under Product, select Deployed Deep Discovery Inspector.
  4. Select 5.7 Service Pack 3 and above and follow the instructions.
    1. Specify the Deep Discovery Inspector appliance IP address or FQDN.
      Important
      Important
      You can only access appliances that are part of your corporate network or that you can reach directly.
    2. Click Go.
      The Deep Discovery Inspector appliance console opens.
    3. On the Deep Discovery Inspector console, log on with an administrator account.
    4. (Optional) Change the password.
    5. In the Registering to Trend Micro Vision One dialog, click Continue to confirm the process.

    When connecting directly to Trend Micro Vision One, Use system proxy settings is always set to Yes.
  5. On the Trend Micro Vision One console, go to Network Security OperationsNetwork Inventory to verify the sensor status.
