To increase the performance of scanning and to skip files that are causing false alarms, you can exclude certain items from scanning. Real-Time Scan, Scheduled Scan, and Manual Scan skip scanning the files, folders, and file extensions you add to the exclusion lists.
The scans may detect several commonly used applications, such as Hotbar, and interpret them as threats. To prevent the Security Agent from detecting commonly used applications, add the application files to the exception list.
Classic Mode: Go to SECURITY AGENTS and select a group. Click > Configure Policy.
Advanced Mode: Go to POLICIES > Policy Management. Click Add or click an existing policy.
