The FBI defines Business Email Compromise (BEC) as "a sophisticated scam targeting businesses working with foreign suppliers and/or businesses that regularly perform wire transfer payments." BEC attacks usually exploit vulnerabilities in different email clients and make an email message look as if it is from a trusted sender from your organization or business associate.
