What should I do when Behavior Monitoring and Ransomware Protection are not working?

To resolve this issue, perform any of the following steps.

  • Check that the Unauthorized Change Prevention Service is enabled.
    1. Go to the Configure Policy screen by performing one of the following:
      • Classic Mode: Go to SECURITY AGENTS and select a group. Click > Configure Policy.

      • Advanced Mode: Go to POLICIES > Policy Management. Click Add or click an existing policy.

    2. Go to Target and Service Settings.
    3. Check that the Unauthorized Change Prevention Service is enabled on the required platforms.
  • Check that Behavior Monitoring and Ransomware Protection settings are enabled.
    1. Go to the Configure Policy screen by performing one of the following:

      • Advanced Mode: Go to POLICIES > Policy Management. Click Add or click an existing policy.

    2. Click Windows.
    3. Go to Behavior Monitoring.
    4. Check that Behavior Monitoring and all Ransomware Protection settings are enabled.
