Configuring Product Update Notifications

Worry-Free Business Security can inform users of product updates when a new version, service pack, or patch is available. You can set up the following types of product update notifications:

  • Security Agent: Displays a notification near the notification area on the endpoint

  • Email

  1. Go to Administration > Product Update.
  2. Click Notifications.
  3. To receive notifications from the Security Agent, configure the Security Agent Notification section.
    1. Click Add.
    2. Select the Security Agents from the list.
    3. Click Save.
  4. To receive email notifications about product updates, specify the recipients in the Email Notification section.
    Note:

    Receiving email notifications requires you to configure the SMTP tab in Administration > Global Settings.

  5. Click Save.
