You can back up settings to create a copy of the Cloud Edge Cloud Console configuration to restore the configuration in another Cloud Edge gateway or to revert to the backup settings at a later time.

The following settings can be backed up and restored:

  • Hosted users and groups

  • Security profiles and group information

  • Policy rules and objects

  • Approved and blocked lists

Trend Micro recommends:

  • Backing up the current configuration before each import operation.

  • Performing the operation when Cloud Edge is idle. Importing and exporting affects Cloud Edge performance.
