Deep Discovery Inspector Virtual Appliance System Requirements

System requirements for Deep Discovery Inspector virtual appliance deployments and trials.

The following tables detail system requirements for standard and trial deployments of the Deep Discovery Inspector virtual appliance. If this is your first time to deploy a Deep Discovery Inspector virtual appliance, use a trial deployment to verify your network settings and that appliances are able to connect with Network Inventory.

Standard deployment
Trial deployment: 7-day data retention
Trial deployment: 30-day data retention

The following table outlines the recommended virtual machine specifications for standard deployments.

Note:

Each additional network interface requires 100 MB of virtual memory.

Tip:

Trend Micro recommends using VMware ESXi with the VMXNET 3 network interface to try the Deep Discovery Inspector virtual appliance.
