Configuring Managed XDR Settings

Managed XDR allows you to configure response approval and notification settings.

You can configure whether your manual approval is required before the Managed XDR operations team takes any response actions.

  1. Go to XDR > Managed XDR.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Configure response approval settings.
    • Select the Automatically approve all response actions check box to enable automatic approval. Trend Micro Vision One automatically approves all the response actions that the Managed XDR operations team takes based on investigations.

      In addition, Trend Micro Vision One automatically approves additional actions that may be available for a response action. To view additional actions of a response action, go to the Response Management app and click the options button () at the end of each task row.

    • Clear the Automatically approve all response actions check box to disable automatic approval. Trend Micro Vision One sends email notifications for all response actions to request your manual approval.

      In the Notification recipient text box, specify an email address that you want Trend Micro Vision One to send the notifications to.

      Note:

      By default, the Automatically approve all response actions check box is not selected.

  4. Click Save.
