Connecting an On-premises Deep Discovery Director

The Network Inventoryy app can connect to an on-premises Deep Discovery Director.

Ensure that Deep Discovery Director fulfills the following requirements before connecting it:

  • Must be version 5.2 Patch 1 or later

  • Must be Consolidated Mode

  • Must be activated

  • Must be integrated with Deep Discovery Director - Network Analytics as a Service

    Note:

    Cannot be integrated with an on-premises version of Deep Discovery Director - Network Analytics

  1. On the Trend Micro Vision One console, go to Inventory Management > Network Inventory, and then click Connect Network Sensor.

    The Connect Network Sensor panel appears.

  2. Select the Deep Discovery Director version.
  3. Specify the Deep Discovery Director appliance IP address or FQDN.
  4. Click Go.

    The Deep Discovery Director appliance console opens.

  5. On the Deep Discovery Directorconsole, log on with an administrator account.
  6. (Optional) Change the password.
  7. In the Registering to Trend Micro Vision One dialog that displays, click Continue to confirm the process.

    The Network Inventory app connects Deep Discovery Director and all managed network sensors.

  8. On the Trend Micro Vision One console, go to Inventory Management > Network Inventory to verify the sensor status.
  9. (Optional) Configure your network sensor with Deep Discovery Director.

    To access Network Analytics reports from the Workbench app, you must first configure specific product settings.
