Endpoint Inventory 2.0

Check XDR status and manage endpoint groups.

The Endpoint Inventory app allows you to view which features are enabled on your endpoints, as well as create and manage endpoint groups.

Important:

For Apex One on-premises customers, only endpoints with the Apex One Patch installed can report to Trend Micro Vision One. After installing the Apex One Patch to Security Agents, allow around 10 minutes for online endpoints to report back.

From the Agent Installer tab, select Download to obtain the installation package or a URL link to the Windows, macOS, or Linux installer. Install the Agent on as many endpoints as possible for maximum visibility.

  • For Windows endpoints that require a proxy server to connect to external networks, open a command line editor as an administrator and execute the following command:

    EndpointBasecamp.exe /proxy_server_port <proxy_server_ip_or_fqdn:port>

    For example:

    EndpointBasecamp.exe /proxy_server_port 10.1.1.1:80

    Important:

    Endpoint Basecamp only supports HTTP proxies and does not support the use of proxy credentials.

Endpoint List

Displays a list of all the endpoints in your environment with the agent installed

  • Select the check box next to endpoints with errors and click Retry to install the necessary XDR components.

  • Select the check box next to endpoints and click Remove to remove them from the endpoint list.

Important:

Removing an endpoint from the Endpoint List does not uninstall the agent program or prevent the agent from sending data to Trend Micro. Uninstall the Endpoint Basecamp program from the endpoint stop any data collection.

To restore visibility to endpoints that have been removed, uninstall and reinstall Endpoint Basecamp.

No Features Enabled

Displays a list of all endpoints without any XDR features enabled

Action required

Displays a list of all endpoints that encountered issues while attempting to install XDR

Note:

You may be able to resolve some issues by attempting to Retry installation. For other issues, contact your support provider.
