TMWS Certificate Deployment

This section describes how to deploy the default TMWS root CA certificate (current_ca_cert.cer) for on-premises gateway use on different client browsers. The procedure also applies to deploying current_cloud_ca_cert.cer for cloud proxy use.

Deployment to Safari

  1. Locate current_ca_cert.cer in Finder, and double-click it.

    The Keychain Access window appears.

  2. Locate and open the certificate.

    The certificate window appears.

  3. Expand Trust, and then set When using this certificate to Always Trust.
  4. Close the window.

A screen shows and prompts for a password.

  5. Type your password and click Update Settings.

Deployment to Internet Explorer, Edge, and Chrome

  1. Open current_ca_cert.cer.
  2. Click Install Certificate.

    The Certificate Import Wizard opens.

  3. Click Next.
