Manually configure supported desktop browsers to reference the location of a PAC file.

Manually configure Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 to forward traffic to TMWS.
Use Active Directory Group Policies (GPO) to scale the implementation. See GPO Creation. Note, however, that Internet Explorer changes may be locked if the PAC file is implemented using GPO.
Select Use automatic configuration script and provide the file path of the PAC file.
The path can be the location of the PAC file (in URL format) on the TMWS system. It can also be a local or network path if you downloaded the PAC file from the management console and saved it to your local computer or network.
To view the URL of a PAC file or download a PAC file from the management console, go to Administration > SERVICE DEPLOYMENT > PAC Files.
Select Use a proxy server for your LAN and provide the following address:
proxy.iws-hybrid.trendmicro.com:80
Manually configure Microsoft Edge 83.x or later to forward traffic to TMWS.
The Automatic proxy setup window appears.
Turn on Use setup script, provide the file path of the PAC file in the Script address text box, and click Save.
The path can be the location of the PAC file (in URL format) on the TMWS system. It can also be a local or network path if you downloaded the PAC file from the management console and saved it to your local computer or network.

To have TMWS scan HTTPS traffic, select Use this proxy server for all protocols.
Select Automatic proxy configuration URL and provide the file path of the proxy PAC file.

In the Proxy Configuration File field, type proxy.iws-hybrid.trendmicro.com:80.
Click Choose File... and select the file path of the PAC file.
