IP Address Groups

Add IP address groups that you can use in secure access rules to allow or deny users' access to the internet based on their IP address.


IP address groups can be applied to the following:

  • Private access rules

  • Internet access rules

The following table outlines the actions available on the IP Address Groups tab.



Add an IP address group

  1. On the IP Address Groups tab, click Add.

  2. Specify a unique name for the category. This name appears in the Available Locations list when you configure internet access rules and HTTPS inspection rules.

  3. (Optional) Specify a description.

  4. Specify at least one IP address or IP range. Use commas to separate multiple values.


    Private IP addresses and IPv6 are not supported.

Check IP address group details

View the basic information about an IP address group.

Configure an IP address group

Click in the Action column to change the basic information about an IP address group.

Click in the Action column to delete an IP address group from Trend Micro Vision One.

To delete more than one IP address group, select the IP address group and click Delete in the upper left.


Only the IP address groups that are not in use by any secure access rule can be deleted.
