Secure Access Module Deployment

Deploy the Secure Access Module to supported endpoints and manage the deployment status on the Trend Micro Vision One console.

For the endpoints that are deployed with the Agent Installer, Trend Micro Vision One allows you to deploy the Secure Access Module through the Agent.

After the deployment, users can find the Trend Micro Zero Trust Secure Access app on their endpoints or tab on their mobile devices. After they sign in to the app with a third-party IAM account or a local account, the Secure Access Module establishes a connection with a Private Access Connector. The Connector determines which internal resources are accessible to the users based on secure access rules. When users visit the internet, the Secure Access Module forwards web traffic to an appropriate Internet Access Gateway, which protects users' access to cloud apps and external URLs based on secure access rules.

Important:

Make sure you have configured SAML single sign-on under Administration > Single Sign-On. Trend Micro Vision One works with your SAML-based IAM vendor to authenticate your company's users when they sign in to and use the Secure Access Module.

The Endpoints with Secure Access Module screen allows you to view which endpoints you have deployed the Module on and manage the deployment status of your endpoints and mobile devices.
