Virtual Machine Specifications for Trial Deployments

Provision a lightweight virtual machine to test the Deep Discovery Inspector virtual appliance.

For new Network Inventory users, Trend Micro recommends testing the Deep Discovery Inspector virtual appliance in their environment first.

Trend Micro recommends using VMware ESXi to try the Deep Discovery Inspector virtual appliance.

Do not enable the following resource-intensive features in Deep Discovery Inspector if you are using the limited trial system requirements:

  • Packet Capture

  • Internal Virtual Analyzer
