User Accounts

Create and manage accounts for authorized users to access the Trend Micro Vision One console and generate authentication tokens to connect third-party applications with Trend Micro Vision One APIs.

User accounts allow you to control access to the Trend Micro Vision One console by managing accounts for authorized users. Control or limit which screens and apps each account can access by assigning User Roles and access levels. You can also create API-only user accounts with the ability to generate authentication tokens which enable third-party applications to connect with Trend Micro Vision One APIs.

Note:

Only user accounts with the "Master Administrator" predefined-role can add, modify, or delete other user accounts.

The following table outlines the actions available on the User Accounts screen (Account > User Accounts).

Action

Description

Add an account

Click Add Account to create a new user or API-only account.

For more information, see Configuring Accounts.

Edit an account

Click an Account to modify account details such as password, role, and access level.

For more information, see Configuring Accounts.

Delete accounts

Select one or more accounts and click Delete Account to remove the selected accounts.

Refresh screen information

Click Refresh to refresh the information on the screen.

Enable or disable two-factor authentication (2FA)

Click the Two-factor authentication toggle to enable or disable two-factor authentication for logging on to the Trend Micro Vision One console.

Note:

Two-factor authentication is only available for local accounts.

Enable or disable an account

Click the toggle in the Status column to enable or disable the account.
