Stopping and Restarting Apex Central Services

Use the Windows Services screen to restart any of the following Apex Central services:

  • Trend Micro Management Infrastructure

  • Trend Micro Apex Central

Note:

  • These are the services that run in the background on the Windows operating system, not the Trend Micro services that require Activation Codes (for example, Outbreak Prevention Services).

  • The following procedure assumes you are running Apex Central on Windows Server 2008 R2.
  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Services.

    The Services screen appears.

  2. To stop a Apex Central service:
    1. Right-click <Apex Central service>.

      A pop-up menu appears.

    2. Click Stop.
  3. To restart a Apex Central service:
    1. Right-click <Apex Central service>.

      A pop-up menu appears.

    2. Click Start.
