Configuring Internal Proxy Settings

  1. Go to Administration > Settings > Proxy.
  2. Click the Internal Proxy tab.
  3. Go to the Agent Connection with the OfficeScan Server section.
    1. Select Use the following proxy settings when agents connect to the OfficeScan server.
    2. Specify the proxy server name or IPv4/IPv6 address, and port number.
      Note:

Specify a dual-stack proxy server identified by its host name if you have IPv4 and IPv6 agents. This is because internal proxy settings are global settings. If you specify an IPv4 address, IPv6 agents cannot connect to the proxy server. The same is true for IPv4 agents.

    3. If the proxy server requires authentication, type the user name and password and then confirm the password.
  4. Go to the Agent Connection with Standalone Smart Protection Servers section.
    1. Select Use the following proxy settings when agents connect to standalone Smart Protection Servers.
    2. Specify the proxy server name or IPv4/IPv6 address, and port number.
    3. If the proxy server requires authentication, type the user name and password and then confirm the password.
  5. Click Save.
