Control Manager Certificate Authorization

Before registering OfficeScan to the Control Manager server, you must first obtain the Control Manager certificate file from the Control Manager server from the following location:

<Control Manager installation folder>\Certificate\CA\TMCM_CA_Cert.pem

OfficeScan and Control Manager use the certificate and public key encryption to ensure that only authorized registration and policy management communication occurs between the servers. If either server detects unauthorized communication, the server rejects any registration or policy settings being received.

Important:

If your company uses a customized certificate on the Control Manager server, you must upload the Root CA certificate during the Control Manager registration.
