Web Install Page Installations

Users can install the OfficeScan agent program from the web install page if you installed the OfficeScan server to endpoints running the following platforms:

  • Windows Server 2003 with Internet Information Server (IIS) 6.0 or Apache 2.0.x

  • Windows Server 2008 with Internet Information Server (IIS) 7.0

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 with Internet Information Server (IIS) 7.5

  • Windows Server 2012 with Internet Information Server (IIS) 8.0

To install from the web install page, you need the following:

  • Internet Explorer with the security level set to allow ActiveX™ controls. The required versions are as follows:

    • 6.0 on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003

    • 7.0 on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008

    • 8.0 on Windows 7

    • 10.0 on Windows 8/8.1 and Windows Server 2012

  • Administrator privileges on the endpoint
