Typically, the server is installed and then agents are deployed using an agent installer downloaded from the server web console. Agents deployed using this installer typically do not need additional configuration to connect to the server.

Install the server to manage agents.
If agents exist on your network, they will appear on the server web console Users and Endpoints screen.
Deploy agents to control application starts and access for users and endpoints.
Agents apply policies deployed to them from the server.
