Before uninstalling the Endpoint Application Control server, Trend Micro recommends backing up your server and agent data. See Backing up your Server.
Agent data on the server endpoint is the latest version cached by the server. To ensure an optimal backup, verify that agent connections are up-to-date. See Backing up Agents.
To uninstall the server, Trend Micro recommends the following:
Use a Windows administrator account to uninstall.
For example, log on as a Windows administrator.
After uninstalling, restart the server endpoint to allow Setup to complete clean-up tasks.
Use the Windows uninstallation wizard.
For example, go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features, select Trend Micro Endpoint Application Control in the list, and then click Uninstall. Follow the steps in the Windows uninstallation wizard that appears.
If uninstallation is interrupted or fails, you may need to manually remove items. After restarting the server endpoint, confirm that the following items are removed:
