About Account Roles

Roles determine the web console screens and settings accessible to accounts.

Role	Functions
Administrator "root" The administrator account created during server installation appears under Account Name as root.	View and configure all screens. Lock and unlock rules. See Add or Edit Rule Screen. Edit all profiles and settings.
Administrator	View and configure all screens. Edit all profiles and settings.
Guest	View and configure the following screens: Dashboard Administration > Web Console Accounts Only the guest user's account appears in the list. View the following screens: Management > Users and Endpoints Logs > Query Help Edit current account profile.
