Step 3: Send a Removal Request

Once you have established that the IP address is being blocked, you can send a removal request for each list.

  1. Check the status of your IP address. Refer to Step 1: Determine Your IP Address.
  2. Send a request to have it removed:
    • Send a request to your administrator or ISP provider.

    • If you are the administrator or ISP provider, send a request to Trend Micro:

      1. Click the Request to be removed from the global blocked list link.

      2. You need to provide the requested information on the web form.

      3. Click Send.

    Note:

    Removal requests have to come from an authoritative account such as: abuse@(domain name) or postmaster@(domain name). This ensures that Trend Micro is in contact with the valid owner of the IP block(s).
