Connected Threat Defense Integration

The following diagram outlines the basic Connected Threat Defense architecture for Apex Central.

Enable Connected Threat Defense features on Apex Central by completing the following steps.

  1. Activate additional licenses (if any) for the Connected Threat Defense features you want to use.

    In addition to a valid Apex Central license, you may require additional licensing for the following:

    • Apex One: Sandbox as a Service

    • Apex One: Endpoint Sensor

  2. Apex Central automatically configures sample submission.
  3. Synchronize suspicious object lists.

  4. Detect suspicious objects and perform impact assessments. For more information, see Preemptive Protection Against Suspicious Objects.
