Scan Settings Tab

Go to Administration > Scan Settings to perform the following tasks:

Select the scan type.

Under Scanning and Collection, select one of the following scan types:

  • Default scan: Scans system memory, registries, and critical system files (for example, the drivers folder).

  • Quick scan: Scans system memory only.

  • Full scan: Scans system memory, registries, and all files.

Select the sample file collection scope.

Select an option for Sample Collection under Scanning and Collection.

Add suspicious objects.

Under User-defined Suspicious Objects, type an object name in a field.

Note:

  • You can specify up to 1000 object names for each text field. You may copy and paste object names from a text file.

  • Separate entries using a vertical bar "|".

  • For more information, see Field Input Requirements.

Configure scan exceptions.

Under Exceptions, type an object name in a field.
