Logs are time-sequential records of Trend Micro Security (for Macintosh) events. These events refer to actions initiated by Security (for Macintosh). Trend Micro Security (for Macintosh) allows users to query logs.
Saving logs means abundant information about Security (for Macintosh) performance. However, it also means more disk space usage. It is important to balance the need for information with the available system resources.
Trend Micro Security (for Macintosh) has the following three log types:
Malware logs: displays a list of all malware that Trend Micro Common Client has detected since the last time the list was deleted
Web Threat Protection logs: displays a list of all Web sites that Web Threat Protection has blocked since the last time the list was deleted
Update logs: displays a list of all the components that have been updated since the last time the list was deleted
