Account Types

Trend Micro Safe Lock provides role-based administration, allowing administrators to grant users access to certain features on the main console. Through the configuration file, Safe Lock administrators can specify the features available to the Restricted Users account.

Safe Lock Accounts

Account	Details
Administrator	Default account Full access to Safe Lock functions Can use both the console and command line interface (CLI)
Restricted User	Secondary maintenance account Limited access to Safe Lock functions Can only use the console

To enable the Restricted User account, see Configuring Passwords . To sign in with a specific account, specify the password for that account.
