Update Automatically

Configure Threat Mitigator to regularly check its update source and automatically download any available updates. Scheduled update relieves you of the task of manually keeping Threat Mitigator up-to-date.

To download updates regularly:

  1. Click Updates on the main menu. The drop-down menu displays.

  2. Click Scheduled. The Scheduled Update screen appears.

  3. Under Enable Scheduled Updates For Components, select the components that you want to update.

  4. Under Update Schedule, specify how often to perform scheduled update. First, select the unit of time to base your schedule on and then select a frequency.

  5. Select the Start time for your scheduled updates. The update begins according to your schedule at the Start time that you set.

  1. Every X minutes—runs within the minute you specify, at the start time

  2. Every X hours—runs within the hour you specify, at the start time

  3. Every X days—runs within the day you specify, at the start time

  4. Once a week, on Xday—runs weekly, on the day you specify, at the start time

  1. Click Save.
