Threat Management Services Settings

A brief description of the options available on this screen is available below.

Send Threat Mitigator data and logs to Trend Micro through Threat Management Services—select this option to enable the Threat Management Service setting to provide root cause analysis and incident analysis reports for administrative purposes
Server Settings—specify the following:
Server name or IP address—specify the server that transmits logs and another that collects status information
Note: Trend Micro provides server names or IP addresses when you register for the Threat Management Service Portal service.
Send logs every—specify the frequency of log transmission
Protocol—select from SSH or SSL
Upload/Download bandwidth—bandwidth parameters to ensure that sending information or downloading custom patterns cause as little network interruption as possible
User name, Password, and Registration email address—registration information for logging on to the Threat Management Services Settings Portal
Test Connection—click this button to test the connection between Threat Mitigator and Threat Management Services Portal

Click Save.

Note: If a proxy server is used to connect to Threat Management Services, specify proxy settings.
