Configuring Deployment Settings Parent topic

Mobile Security enables you to integrate with other MDM solutions. Use the Deployment Settings screen to deploy Mobile Security in one of the following modes:
  • Full Version: This option provides mobile device management (MDM) and security scan features.
  • Security Scan: This option provides security scan features only and enables integration with other mobile device management (MDM) solutions.

Procedure

  1. On the Mobile Security administration web console, navigate to AdministrationDeployment Settings.
  2. On the Server tab, select the Mobile Security deployment mode.
    • Full Version
    • Security Scan, and then select the MDM Solution from the drop list.
      If you select AirWatch from the MDM Solution drop list, configure the AirWatch settings displayed on the screen to enable AirWatch integration with Mobile Security.
  3. (Security Scan deployment mode with unlisted MDM vendor only) On the Android Agent tab, select one of the following options:
    • Download from Google Play Store - If you select this option, then users need to download and install the client app manually from Google Play Store. However, the client app on the mobile device will be updated automatically whenever it is updated on Google Play Store.
    • Download from Mobile Security Server - If you select this option, then the users will be able to download it from the URL specified in the notification email.
      You can also select Auto Enrollment to pre-configure the client app with server IP address, port number and preset enrollment key.
  4. (Security Scan deployment mode with unlisted MDM vendor only) On the iOS Agent tab, select Enable security scan support for iOS (7.1 or later)., and then follow the procedure displayed on the screen to complete the configuration.
  5. Click Save.
