Configuring Compliance Policy

Compliance policy enables you to set the compliance criteria for the mobile devices. If any mobile device does not match the criteria, Mobile Security displays its non-compliance status on the server UI. Mobile Security also sends an email to the non-complying iOS mobile device, while it displays a notification on non-complying Android mobile devices.

To configure compliance policies for a group:

  1. In the Device Management screen, select a group from the mobile device tree; then, click Policy. The Policy pop up window displays.

  2. ClickCompliance Policy on the left menu.

  3. Select the compliance option to enable; clear the checkbox to disable. For OS version check, if enabled, type the range of version numbers that you want to specify.

  4. Do one of the following:

  5. For the root group, select Apply changes to all groups and send notification messages to all mobile devices after clicking 'Save'. This action copies policies to all sub-groups sends an SMS notification to Mobile Device Agents about the configuration changes.

  6. For the sub-group, select Send notification messages to mobile devices after clicking 'Save'. This action sends an SMS notification to Mobile Device Agents about the configuration changes.
