Wipe Remote Device

• Devices > Remote Wipe

Use the Remote Wipe Device screen to remotely clear the internal memory/SD card and reset the mobile device to factory settings. This feature helps ensure the security of the data for lost, stolen or misplaced mobile devices.

• Be careful when you use this feature as the action CANNOT be undone. All data will be lost and unrecoverable.

To remotely wipe a mobile device:

1. In the Device Management screen, select a group from the device tree; then, select a device from the device list.

2. Click Remote Wipe. This displays the Remote Wipe Device screen.

3. Select the appropriate Device name checkbox.

4. ClickRemote Wipe Device to clear the internal memory/SD card and reset the mobile device to factory settings.
