Registering Mobile Security

Trend Micro provides all registered users with technical support, virus pattern downloads, and program updates for a specified period after which you must purchase renewal maintenance to continue receiving these services. Register Mobile Security to ensure that you are eligible to receive the latest security updates and other product and maintenance services.

If the license expires, you will need to register Mobile Security with a new Activation Code. Please consult your local Trend Micro sales representative for more information.

Activation Code (Serial Number) Format

An activate code (also referred to as serial number) displays in the following format:

xx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

To register Mobile Security server:

  1. In the Mobile Security management screen, click Administration > Product License and click New Activation Code. The Product License screen displays.

  2. Type the Activation Code in the fields provided and click Save.

  3. Verify that product registration is successful. Click Dashboard to display the Dashboard screen. You should see the message "Trend Micro Mobile Security has been activated" in the Dashboard screen.

  4. If Mobile Security is not registered, a screen displays prompting you to type the Activation Code every time you try to access the Mobile Security server screen.
