Deleting a Group

• Devices > Delete

• You can only delete empty groups to which no mobile device belongs.

You cannot delete the following group types:

• the "Mobile Devices" group (the root group)

• the "default" group (the group that a device belongs if you did not specify a group during device addition)

• groups with associated devices

To delete a group:

1. In the Device Management screen, select a group from the group tree. Make sure there are no mobile devices associated with this group.

2. Click Delete.

3. A warning screen displays. Click OK to delete; otherwise, click Cancel.

After you have deleted a group, the group name will not display in the Group drop-down list in the Add Device or Edit Device screen.
